I'm seeing the flowers bloom, romance in the air, sparkling gems everywhere.
I'm loving SS17. It makes me smile and light up with excitement. It's all about being bold and being feminine. Check out one look of Loyd/Ford, featured on our model Elizabeth. Elizabeth is wearing silk embellished shorts and a Loyd/Ford silk and hand-embroidered shrug in pale pink - also available in black at Michael Nusskern. Loyd/Ford, designers from Palm Springs with manufacturing in Los Angeles, seem to understand the California girl's need for light and feminine ease. I love their all lace black dress that Elizabeth is wearing on my Instagram; it can be worn as shown with biker boots or with pumps to impress on an evening out. What woman doesn't feel absolutely feminine and gorgeous in lace. I also know that all men love women in lace.
You're also going to see camouflage jackets embellished with lace and gems, ruffled sleeves on denim and crystals on kicks. My favorite designer for dressed up kicks is Valentino.
I love the juxtaposition of leather pants and a feminine blouse with ruffled sleeves. Wear it with embellished sneakers for a more daytime look or dress it up with a metallic boot. By the way, cowboy boots are making a huge comeback, and I'm sure they don't look like your grandaddy's boots.

I feel like I just tarred myself and rolled into mardi gras! And why not? Don't we all need a little bit of happiness and cheer after all the craziness from the election. I, myself, wear a lot of black, but my accessories are screaming glam! So don't be afraid of bright bold colors and the bling. It can only make people smile when they see you.
Luxury isn't just up in the high end prices. You can find the bling everywhere. Check out Zara and Forever 21 because 2017 is screaming MORE IS MORE!
As for Fall/Winter 2017, Paris fashion week is going on right now and I'm seeing luxury and elegance rolling over from spring and summer. It's still about being feminine and bold. I see lots of crushed velvet, thigh high boots and print. I better get a head start now on my blog for my favorite seasons, fall and winter.
The rain clouds have broken, and it's time to go shopping.
