There are two special loves in my life, being a proud Army daughter and having Scottish influence in my life.

When I was a child, my Grandmum would bring us Scottish plaid kilts and white shirts with big lapels from her trip back to Scotland every year. I loved wearing a plaid kilts. The other fond memory I had was seeing my Dad in full military uniform, whether it was his khakis or his green class As., that were just retired in 2015.

In Jr. High we would head to the PX and pick up a pair of Army issued green cargo pants, shirt and jacket, mixed and matched with our wardrobe of coarse. We looked great in them and we wore them with pride.

I still love military green and now you don't have to go and get them at the army surplus store but I still would for nostalgia sake, they have vintage too. If you don't want that, you can just get an army inspired green jacket, pants, and shirt almost by any designers right now.

Whether you wear Army green or not, don't forget "OUR TROOPS"!

Thank you for reading my blog!

Love, M
